Are you newly qualified or qualifying in the next year from an out of region University? If so we would love to hear from you.

We are looking to recruit highly motivated, newly qualified registered nurses to help us deliver high quality, safe and compassionate care in a variety of specialties.

We provide a supportive environment and work to develop all colleagues to achieve their full potential and as a newly qualified nurse you will join our preceptorship programme and will be supported at every step of the way.

We also offer the opportunity to join our one year Compass rotation programme, to give you experience working in acute and Community settings, gaining experience in specialist areas whilst enhancing your clinical skills and knowledge.

You need to possess excellent communication skills, be committed to delivering high quality, safe patient centred care at all times.

All posts will include a commitment to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays where applicable to the service.

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure, and you can choose to have this deducted from either your first month’s salary or in instalments over your first 3 months’ salary. The current price of a standard check is £31 and an enhanced check is £49.


The Trust offers free car parking at the Woodside Building (Woodside Building, Moorgate Road, Rotherham, S60 2TY) if your interview is at the Main Hospital Site, which is a five-minute walk from Woodside. You will be asked for proof of your qualifications at the conditional offer stage of your employment. If you are unable to provide evidence the offer may be withdrawn.

New starters to the NHS will start at the bottom of the advertised salary band.
