An opportunity has arisen to offer the above vacancy within Winter Pressures on D5E Ward at the Royal Gwent Hospital.

If you are looking for new challenges and with strong leadership skills this post is a great opportunity for you.

You will be expected to work as part of the Multidisciplinary Team on the Unit and be actively involved in providing high standards of quality care. You will also be expected to demonstrate a high level of nursing assessment and clinical care skills by supporting Band 2 HCSW’s in their professional development within this dedicated environment. In addition you will be required to provide support and advice to patients and their families/carers. You will be expected to facilitate safe, effective and timely discharges of patients. We are seeking an enthusiastic forward thinking nurse to join this new team. If you thrive on a challenge and feel that you have the qualities and interpersonal skills, this will be the post for you.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
