Respiratory Support and Sleep Centre

Band 5 CPAP Practitioner

Part Time (28 WTE)

Salary £23,023-£29,608 pa pro rata

 

An exciting vacancy has arisen to join our CPAP Practitioner team. This position would suit an individual who has the motivation and passion to work both within an innovative team and autonomously providing care, support and management for a cohort of over 14000 patients with Sleep Disordered Breathing.

Our Practitioners currently work predominately at Royal Papworth, travelling independently across several locations in the East Anglian region.

Health education and promotion for both the patient and the carers plays a significant part in our role, which involves initiating 30-40 new patients on treatment weekly in conjunction with patient care review clinics. In addition to this we maintain a telephone and email support service.

This post will be based at Royal Papworth for a period of time prior to our relocation to New Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge inApril/May 2019. This post will then be based between New Royal Papworth and Outreach/Community venues.
