The Quality Team work across the organisation to support improvement and high standards of care for service users. The quality of care is the business of everyone working within the organisation and we promote this approach across Sirona care & health, including a focus on the development and implementation of Sirona’s clinical and care audit (audit) programme, identifying areas and opportunities for new ways of working; service redesign and quality improvement to inform our business plan and priorities.

We are seeking a Quality, Safety and Effectiveness Facilitator to act as a key member of the Quality Team in improving care for service users. The successful candidate will manage the audit programme for the organisation, lead on organisation-wide audits and, it is anticipated, implement and rollout a new database during 2019. They will also facilitate the Care Quality Forum, which has a remit covering the wider scope of quality of care.

This is a part-time role working 18.75 hours per week, within the core hours of 9:00-5:00, Monday to Friday. You will be based in the Kingswood Civic Centre but on occasion will be required to travel to various venues and services.

The successful candidate will be driven by a desire to improve service user experience and outcomes. You will be educated to degree level or have an equivalent level of experience. It is essential that you have experience working in the health or social care sectors and of working on clinical or care audits. A high level of knowledge and understanding of audit is required so that you can advise on projects. You will have advanced analysis and IT skills including in Microsoft Excel. You will be able to communicate effectively, including with senior managers and external partners, and present complex findings in an understandable format to make practical improvements to care. Experience of delivering training, project management, other quality improvement methodologies and other aspects of quality, safety and effectiveness are desirable.
