The objectives are

  • To support service staff in carrying out basic admin roles

  • To improve back-of-house access to support for service users

  • To provide valuable admin experience for volunteers


This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the City Health Care Partnership public health admin team. The Public Heath Administrative Team provide administrative support to the Public Health Services with in CHCP CIC. These include the SmokeFree Hull Service and the Weightwise and Weightwise Extra Service. SmokeFree Hull provides community based smoking cessation support to patients who wish to stop smoking. Weightwise and Weightwise Extra are Tier Three Weight Management Services which provide weight management support to both adults and children. The Public Health Administrative Team support team members within both service as well as the management team. This involves working within a busy office environment and providing support to teams such as; booking appointments, dealing with patient queries and concerns, ensuring the office is stocked with resources and equipment needed for clinics and general office tasks such as photocopying and mail shots.



  • Photocopying/scanning/printing


  • Organising and filing


  • Creating service files


  • Stock taking of service resources (leaflets / posters etc.)


  • Assisting with mail shots


  • General administrative tasks


  • Printing resources – posters, leaflets, freepost envelopes


  • Making telephone calls as required
