The post holder will work closely with the Tumour site Clinical Nurse Specialist, Lead Cancer Nurses and the Macmillan Cancer Information leads to ensure coordination of supportive care for all those post cancer treatment from the three hospitals, Mid Essex, Southend and Basildon.

 

The role will be based at Basildon hospital but will work closely and support their Peers based at Mid Essex and Southend. To ensure an equitable and reliable service is delivered, facilitating the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that coordinated and streamlined administrative processes are in place.

 

The post holder will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills including telephone, email, face to face with both staff and patients and demonstrate awareness of the needs of people affected by cancer.
