The Becton Centre for Children and Young People is one of the largest providers of specialist Tier 4 CAMHS services in the UK. Our service includes outreach and in-patient provision for young people who present with emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties. This vacancy is for Sapphire lodge which is a service for young people aged 13 – 18th birthday and has 14 in-patient beds.

There is a full multidisciplinary team including Medics, Nurses, Therapists, Teachers, Admin and Support Services who are committed to continued development and providing high quality care for all its service users and stakeholders. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who would contribute to our dynamic multi disciplinary team. Please read the Job descriptions and person specification for further details. Essential Criteria: 1. Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration. 2. Post registration training/ experience relevant to CAMHS or Mental Health. 3. Post graduate training in Sensory integration. We will provide: 1. In line with other NHS Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region a successful candidate appointed into a post within this Trust will be required to pay the DBS check fee (£49). This is customarily payable over 4 months as a salary deduction once employed by the Trust. If you receive a conditional offer letter, complete your DBS application and later withdraw from the recruitment process, an invoice will be raised via the Trust's finance department to recoup the outlay.
