Band 4 Photographer

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust’s Medical Illustration Service is looking to appoint a full time, permanent, Photographer to become part of our team working within Medical Illustration.

Within medical illustration we provide a range of photography, design, video, illustration and ophthalmic imaging services to the Trust as well as to external clients.

You will be comfortable working on your own or as part of a team and will preferably have already attained:

  • A media qualification to at least ONC level, or equivalent relevant experience working in medical illustration.

Ideally you will be able to hit the ground running and use the photographic skills you have already obtained to undertake work to our standard operating procedures in medical illustration.

Car parking is available, but very limited on some sites - particularly at the LGI due to its city centre location. All staff new to the NHS will normally be appointed to the minimum of the payband.

You will also be required to participate in the DBS Update Service and pay the £13 cost. This is a condition of your employment and will need to be renewed annually. Note for Band 1 roles only the Trust will continue to pay for the cost of the DBS checks and will refund to you the cost for the update service.
