Would you like to work in administration role in one of our Corporate teams? If so, then this role could be for you.


We are looking for three enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join one of our Corporate teams. We have opportunities in our Workforce Transformation, Medical and Dental Education and Learning and Development teams and are looking for confident individuals with good people skills.


The post holders will be part of busy teams providing a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to support the teams. The roles will involve a variety of administrative tasks including telephone call handling, data inputting and general administrative tasks as set out in the job description. The applicants will be expected to have good interpersonal and IT skills and be willing to learn and develop within the team.


Our Apprenticeship Scheme is delivered by our own internal assessment team (SHINEApprenticeships@WHCT) to ensure that you are supported through a high quality training programme. You will undertake the Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business Administration. You will be employed on a 12 month fixed term contract for up to 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday) with time for formal study towards the apprenticeship. On completion of the apprenticeship you will be in an excellent position to apply for band 2 posts with the Trust.


Candidates who hold a Level 4 (or above) qualification already, i.e. HNC, HND or Degree, in a similar area to the apprenticeship will not be shortlisted. You are advised to read the Person Specification BEFORE you complete the supporting information section and tell us how you meet the requirements. To be successful you must be committed to completing the apprenticeship training programme. This role is based in Worcester; please consider your ability to travel to and from this location a daily basis before applying.


Please note that if you do not indicate on your application form that you have achieved 4 GCSE (or equivalent) grade 9 – 4 or A-D (including Maths and English Language) you will not be shortlisted.


You are required to provide at least two referees in your application; these must not be relatives, friends or ‘friends of the family’. Please check with all your referees that they are willing to provide a reference for you and that you are providing up-to-date contact details for them.
