Job Title: Child and Adolescent Mental Health Nurse

Post: 5 days 1.0 WTE Permanent

 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, ambitious, and motivated Band 6 RMN who has experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health to join our Hounslow CAMHS Neuro-developmental Team. You will be joining a team who are passionate about providing a positive experience of CAMH Services to children and young people who present with complex needs.

 

The primary focus of the role will be the assessment, diagnosis and support of children with neuro-developmental conditions (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Tic disorders) and co-morbid mental health problems. The role also includes the use of standardised assessment tools and training in standardised assessment tools such ADI-r and ADOS will be provided.

 

The post holders will also be part of the thriving 3-borough CAMHS Nursing Team and they will be offered high quality and consistent supervision from within the service. In addition, good opportunities for continuing professional development will be offered, alongside other supports.

 

We are looking for a RMN’s who are able to demonstrate a commitment to creative engagement with a culturally diverse population of young people, show initiative, are team players and are able to communicate ideas clearly to both professionals and young people alike. They will also need to be flexible and have the necessary skills and experience to provide high quality care that is both evidence based and client focussed.

The above post is offered on a permanent full time basis.
