Vacancy for Executive Chef Manager

West London NHS Trust provides a full range of mental health services, including high secure services in Broadmoor Hospital.

 

Responsibilities

 

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Executive Chef Manager to provide excellent leadership for the department. Be responsible for all aspects of managing the high level of delivery and expectations to our patients, retail outlets and hospitality service. Ambitious and commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence the day-to-day business, you'll maximize the performance of your team. Leading by example and setting high quality food standards, you'll enhance sales and provide our patients and customers with great service.

 

Ensuring the operation is provided safely as per current legislation and maintain food operational systems and compliance. Conduct regular team training and support the ongoing technical skills development for the team. The post holder will manage approx. 25 WTE in house staff across.

 

Ideal Candidate

 

The ideal candidate will have as a minimum the following knowledge and experience:

 

    • City and Guilds 706/3 / NVQ Level 3 in Food Preparation / Hospitality degree or equivalent experience

 

    • Level 3 Food Hygiene

 

    • IOSH Managing Safely

 

    • Managerial and Retail experience in similar environment for 3-years

 

    • Healthcare setting experience

 

    • Food service and concept development

 

    • Sound knowledge of Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and compliance

 

    • Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery

 

    • Interpersonal, administrative and organizational skills

 

    • Computer literacy

 

    • Financial management of large budgets and commercial acumen

 

    • Ability to liaise with food suppliers

We offer Relocation packages for some positions (including Band 5 and Band 6 Nurses) - a relocation allowance of up to £8000 is offered for those who meet a required criteria.

Registered Nurses are required to produce their current NMC Revalidation documents/Portfolio at the assessment centre for verification, unless you are a newly qualified nurse from University.
