The trust is pleased to advertise a locum (maternity cover) consultant post within the CAMHS service-line from December 2018 to December 2019

Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health in Hounslow CAMHS (9 PA)

West London Mental Health NHS Trust provides a full range of local mental health services to the London Boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Hounslow as well as specialist forensic mental health services, including high secure services at Broadmoor Hospital across a wider catchment area.

The post is within the child and families team in Hounslow and will provide the opportunity to work with two other Consultant Psychiatrists within Hounslow CAMHS (their focus is the ND/LD cohort of patients and adolescent psychiatry).

Hounslow CAMHS offers comprehensive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, for children, young people and families in the 0-18 age range. It is a community based out patient service characterised by family centred and individually tailored treatment packages.

 

 

 

This is an exciting time to be joining our Child & Adolescent Services as we continue our collaboration with Commissioners and CAMHS Transformation Plan, as well as leading The New Models of Care Pilot across North West London. The trust are also developing new crisis care services and consolidating work on the specialist CAMHS eating disorders pathway.

 

 

 

There are close links with colleagues in Tier 2 CAMHS services, Acute and Community Paediatrics, Education, Social Services, Primary Care, and Adult Mental Health Services.

 

 

 

The post holders will take a leadership role alongside their consultant colleagues and lead professionals.

 

 

 

The salary range for this post is £76,761 - £103,490 per annum plus London Zone weighting of £2,162 per annum.
