Security Operations Officer

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Security Officer roles at West London Mental Health NHS Trust St Bernard’s Site. As a Security Operations Officer you will carry out a pivotal role in the running of the hospital by providing an external security provision on site. The role will require you to undertake and document electronically site patrols of all grounds and buildings. Including responding to emergency calls and intruder alarm activations. Whilst undertaking the locking and unlocking of buildings both on site and at other London sites. A Full UK Driving Licence is required and a high level of English language so that incident reports can be taken and that full cooperation is maintained with the staff members, members of the public and the police as necessary. You will be required to work flexibly and alter shift patterns as service needs dictate. To undertake a rotational shift patter across 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. All candidates will be required to present a professional appearance and remain polite at all times. Applicants should have experience of working in security services. A job description has been attached to give a full outline of the duties and expectations of applicants. Full training and support will be given to the successful candidates. Formal IT Training or willingness to undertake relevant training and a UK Full (manual) Driving Licence are essential to this role. The Trust offer great benefits ranging from an excellent pension scheme, flexible working and up to 33 days annual leave. A uniform and all equipment will also be provided to the successful candidates.
