COLCHESTER HOSPITAL – FULL / PART TIME

 

Are you passionate about providing rapid assessment and treatment to patients in the initial phase of illness or trauma and often in life threatening situations? We are looking for highly motivated nurses, who have 6 months post registration experience in an acute setting and wish to further develop their clinical and leadership skills.

We are a supportive and friendly team and are excited at the prospect of developing nurses who will have the opportunity to work and learn within the Emergency Department. Working in our busy department receiving patients with a wide spectrum of illnesses and traumas, you will be exposed to caring for patients aged over 16 years old in Minors, Ambulatory, Majors, Resus and Rapid Assessment areas, offering you exceptional opportunities for learning and development.

 

We encourage you to come for an informal visit so that you can have the opportunity to meet some of the staff, have a tour of the department and see for yourself what an enthusiastic and supportive team we are.

 

Candidates would be expected to work a 24-hour rotational shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays.
