An exciting key management opportunity has arisen within the Cognitive Impairment and Dementia Service Line (CIDS) at West London NHS Trust.

West London NHS Trust provides a full range of local mental health services to the London Boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow as well as a specialist Forensic Mental Health Service, including High Secure Services at Broadmoor Hospital.

 

The CID Service Line is one of 7 Service Lines at the Trust focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of dementia across 4 community teams and two inpatient services, with the potential for future expansion to include Older Persons’ Functional Teams. The service has MSNAP accreditation, as well as being rated “outstanding” for caring by the CQC and “good” overall.

 

Reporting to the Clinical Director you will work in partnership with the clinical leads and senior professional staff to ensure the high standard delivery of the Services plan and key objectives in transformation, outcomes, pathways, quality and efficiency plans. You will have a proven record of success in managing operational change and experience of effective budgetary management and business planning.

 

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate substantial experience at a senior level in the NHS and have a detailed knowledge of NHS targets and issues. You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively within a multidisciplinary team based environment.

 

Experience in dementia services would be an advantage, but not essential.
