If so, South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trustis seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, who possesses the desire and interest to work within the Higher Education Team, of one of the top performing UK ambulance services. This could be the perfect starting point to your career, which will lead to progression opportunities within the Trust.

Our apprenticeships are fully funded and structured based on the nationally recognised qualifications which will incorporate the technical knowledge and additional skills bespoke to the needs of your role. You will be enrolled onto either Level 2 or Level 3 Business Administration programme (subject to interview) and will receive a full support from your tutor and your line manager throughout the course. You will work 37.5 hours per week and will be paid according to the agreed salary scale along with full NHS benefits.

As an apprentice with the Trust, you will have a keen passion and interest to learn basic IT, administration, communication and organisation skills and possess confidence and enthusiasm to enhance the Higher Education Team in all aspects of the day to day activities of this specialist team. There will be the opportunity to develop a sound working knowledge of both NHS and Trust processes, partnership working with Universities, other education providers and national education and healthcare commissioners.

You will gain valuable work experience that will underpin your competency in business administration and develop transferable skills that will enable you to progress your career with us.

The starting holiday entitlement is 27 days per annum (based on full time hours) plus bank holidays.
