Photo-therapy Dermatology Technician (PUVA Qualified)

Location: North Middlesex Hospital

Working Hours: 40hrs/week

Working pattern: Monday - Friday (Potential weekends)

Omnes Healthcare Limited is an award winning service and is offering candidates an exciting opportunity to join a successful expanding organisation working within the NHS.

 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced PUVA technician to perform phototherapy in our dermatology clinics.

 

PUVA (psoralen and ultraviolet A) is an ultraviolet light therapy treatment for eczema, psoriasis, graft-versus-host disease, vitiligo, mycosis fungoides, large-plaque parapsoriasis and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma using the sensitizing effects of the drug psoralen.

 

The post holder will work under indirect supervision of the clinical team and undertake tasks and duties delegated by the clinical team or a suitably qualified regulated professional. They will work collaboratively with the organisation to meet the needs of patients, following policies and procedures.
