Consultant in Clinical Genetics

Applications are invited for the above post in Clinical Genetics at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust (OUH). The post is based at the Oxford Centre for Genomic Medicine (OxGEM), Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.

We are pleased to be able to advertise for a new full-time consultant Clinical Geneticist to join our team in Oxford. This new 10 PA post has been created in response to a significant increase in referrals and also some reconfiguration within the current consultant team. The successful candidate will join a team of 11 consultants, 3 honorary consultants and 14 genetic counsellors. Provision of secretarial and administration team support for this post is already in place. The post holder will be expected to undertake general and cancer genetics clinics and the possibility of developing an area of specialist expertise will be encouraged. Other preferences will be open for discussion. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated colleague to join our experienced team to start as soon as possible.

The appointment is full-time however applications are welcome from those who wish to discuss other preferences.

Salary: £77,913 to £105,042 per annum
