We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a dynamic HCPC State Registered Advanced Biomedical Scientist to join our Special Chemistry Team.

You will be an experienced Biomedical Scientist who will join our team at an exciting time of change and modernization. In addition to your technical duties you will take day to day responsibility for the effective management and delivery of training systems and act independently to take decisions on training related matters.

Bringing with you significant technical and clinical knowledge you will lead and manage a team of qualified and support staff. Working closely with our Clinical Leads and Senior Management Team you will play a vital part in ensuring a high quality patient service remains central to all we do.

With the ability to influence others through your leadership skills you will help to support our staff to embed a quality culture into everyday practices through your understanding of UKAS IS0 15189 standards and how these impact on a clinical laboratory.

The role will be based at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
