An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Secretary to work in the Dental Services Directorate. You will provide a comprehensive secretarial, administrative and waiting list management service to the Directorate Manager and/or Departmental Clinical Staff.

There is a high volume of medical audio typing therefore applicants should have excellent audio typing skills and be fully conversant with Windows based office software. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to prioritise your workload.

The ideal candidate would have experience working in a similar role, possess OCR/RSA III and have a working knowledge of NHS systems such as E Record and as well as knowledge of medical terminology. Please refer to the Job Description and Person Specification for all essential and desirable criteria required for the role.

Shift pattern;

Monday to Friday – 0830 – 1700 (60 minutes lunch).
