Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust provides a range of community health services for both physical and mental health conditions, as well as a range of specialist services supporting people of all ages including family and young people services, mental health, learning disabilities and physical health community and inpatient services.

We deliver services to the people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Our 5500 staff serve a population of one million from over 100 sites across the region.

Families, Young People and Children’s Services – Therapy & Diana Children’s Community Services Admin team are looking to appoint a friendly, team orientated individual with experience of working in a busy office environment.

The successful applicant will join an Administrative team providing secretarial and clerical support to the Therapy & Diana Children's Community Services and be the first point of contact for staff, families and external agencies to the Service.

To fulfil this interesting and varied role, applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • Administrative experience within a busy office.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a sympathetic and confident telephone manner.

  • Experience working with confidential and sensitive information.

  • Excellent IT skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

  • Experience using SystmOne patient record system would be advantageous although training will be provided.

  • Excellent word processing skills with the ability to type to RSA II or equivalent.

  • Data inputting experience.

  • Ability to work under pressure within a busy office environment.

  • Excellent team working abilities.

  • Excellent organisational, time management and prioritising skills.

  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the Service.


    Based at Bridge Park Plaza, Thurmaston Leicester LE4 8PQ.Hours of work: 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday.
