An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the Research & Innovation Department, administration team. The role will involve working closely with the local multidisciplinary research teams across the Leeds Teaching Hospitals sites, to increase patient recruitment into clinical trials, thus facilitating a high quality research service.

 

The successful candidate will work as part of the R&I team to support, promote and facilitate the delivery of high quality R&I activity. S/he will have excellent organisational, communication skills and will have the ability to work and deliver results to tight deadlines.

 

The post holder will primarily be based at the Research & Innovation Centre, St James’s Hospital but will be required to travel across the various sites within Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust working with a variety of research teams.

The Trust will administer the check on your behalf & will recover the cost (Enhanced £48 or Standard £30) from your salary over a 3 month period (including Internal staff). You will also be required to participate in the DBS Update Service & pay the £13 cost per year. This is a condition of your employment. DBS checks for volunteers are free.
