We are the only NHS Trust in the UK dedicated to Neurosciences and treat a range of conditions affecting the brain and spine.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our 30 bedded Complex Rehabilitation Unit (CRU) which is part of the Cheshire and Merseyside Rehabilitation bed base. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and professional health care assistants who are committed to supporting the team in providing high quality care for our patient group.

The rehabilitation of patients who have had life changing injuries or neurological events is extremely rewarding as it involves helping a patient to regain, function, confidence, speech, self respect and much more. Our patients have complex needs and often have a lot of care needs. You may experience some challenging behaviour from patients due to the nature of their injury or condition. Previous relevant experience is required. We have a dedicated rehabilitation MDT who will provide further training, support and expertise.

It is a requirement for the successful candidates to have previous care experience, have excellent communication skills and be resilient and committed to providing high quality care to our patient group; aligned with our Trust Values.

You must be flexible, reliable and have a professional caring manner.
