The Role

We are looking to recruit a highly enthusiastic and motivated system lead for our Mental Health (MH) and Substance Misuse (SM) Services and Recovery College in the East of England.

Currently this involves, but is not limited to, managing the Inclusion Visions SM Service, IAPT, Psychological Therapies (Step 4), Complex Needs, Disordered Eating, Intensive Support, Early intervention Psychosis, At Risk Mental States (ARMS), Police On Line Investigations and IPS Employment MH Services and Recovery College. We expect Problem Gambling and LD Services will be added in the near future.

This post offers exciting opportunities to make a significant difference to the way services are delivered in the locality. This will be achieved through collaborative working with commissioners, partner agencies, and clinical/managers across the services.

The primary role will be to use specialist MH and SM knowledge to lead on the day to day community based operations in the East of England, ensuring that ongoing delivery is coordinated, consistent and delivered within budget.

The post holder will champion service user involvement in all aspects of the service delivery.

Supported by the Regional Lead, the post-holder will have oversight of service development and recruitment across these projects.They will work closely with service Clinical Leads and managers to ensure high standards are maintained.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to use their knowledge and management experience to shape how service delivery is adapted for the 4 Thurrock Primary Care Networks. They will sit on the Thurrock MH Transition Board.

Working as a senior Inclusion manager, the post holder will engage in a range of strategic Inclusion/MPFT projects.

The offer

  • MPFT will offer an additional £10,800.00'welcome to MPFT bonus', 50% on joining us and 50% after a period of 12 months service.
  • An equivalent allowance can be offered which will enable the individual to pay for yearly professional registration fees up to £120.00 per year
  • A contribution for relocation fees is also available upon application.
  • Salary on appointment.
  • Individual learning fund.
