From our two sites – in Chelsea, London and Harefield, Middlesex – we strive to develop our staff both personally and professionally to ensure our patients get the first-class service they deserve.

 

Harefield Echo department is a fully digital lab with a range of modern ultrasound scanners. We offer a full range of investigations including adult and paediatric TTE, 3D, TOE and 3D TOE, Exercise and Pharmacological Stress echoes and contrast studies.We have recently developed a state of the art private patient’s service on Harefield hospital site, and we run a technician led valve and oncology clinic, this is a unique and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic advanced Echocardiographer to join our Echocardiography team. You will be required to work as an integral part of the echo team and support both NHS and private patient’s services.

 

Applicants should demonstrate high level of clinical and technical expertise in Echocardiography. Bachelor of Science in Clinical Physiology - Cardiology (or equivalent) is mandatory for this position. Proven competence in performing and reporting echocardiography studies at independent level as well as Adult BSE accreditation (or equivalent) is mandatory. Previous experience providing support with Stress Echo, TOE and research would be an advantage.

 

Applicants must be a highly self-motivated, well organized, flexible and reliable. You should be able to demonstrate expertise in advanced techniques in echocardiography and be enthusiastic to both teach and learn within the field of echocardiography.

 

This post offers the opportunity to work in a stimulating environment, further develop your knowledge and skills in Echocardiography, participate in training and teaching, and are supported in maintaining your BSE accreditation.
