We are Sirona care & health, a Community Interest Company committed to providing local communities with a range of high quality specialist health care services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. For us, it’s about the personal approach; we take pride in what we do and deliver the high standard of care that we’d expect for ourselves and our families.

In return we offer NHS Agenda for Change benefits including generous holiday entitlement, paid enhancements for bank holiday/night working, and the NHS pension scheme, a planned induction program, extensive learning and development opportunities, health and wellbeing programmes, flexible working patterns, staff excellence awards, in-house physiotherapy support and more!

We recognise that flexible working can enable everyone to work successfully, happily and productively to the benefit of both the organisation and the person. Having a good work/life balance makes an important contribution to your health and wellbeing. At Sirona care & health we offer a range of flexible working options. Not all will be suitable in every job, and we aim to make the available options clear when you apply for a job.

Please note: It is now a legal requirement for all healthcare workers to be fully vaccinated by 1 April 2022, unless they are medically exempt. This legislation applies to all health and care services across the country and therefore to all of us in Sirona, regardless of our role. We are a people-facing organisation and at any time any one of us may come into contact with individuals in our care. This means that all staff will need to have had their first COVID19 vaccination by their start date with us and have their second within 10 weeks. Therefore, should you apply for a role with us, you will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status or a legitimate exemption from these requirements as a condition of an offer of employment with Sirona care & health.

Inspired by the idea of returning to your career in Nursing?

Committed to care and compassion and the desire to allow people within our local communities to recover in their own homes, making their lives better and improving their health?

Looking to join a forward thinking organisation that will provide you with excellent support and invest in your career?

If you were previously a registered Nurse and you’ve ever thought about returning to practice and kick starting afresh your career in Nursing, now is the time to do it with Sirona care & health. We recognise you will have valuable expertise to bring and our Nursing teams would love to have you join them!

We have potential return to practice opportunities available in our teams across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, on both a part time & full time basis. You would join us in Sirona during a period of transformation and change. The recent high profile award of the 10 year contract for Adult Community Health Services contract across Bristol, North Somerset and Gloucestershire (BNSSG) is a new and very exciting chapter for us. Come and re-register whilst being part of this transformation!

We understand that during the course of their career, many nursing professionals may not practise for a period of time. This can occur for many reasons, including parental leave, extended travel, caring responsibilities or illness. Whatever the reason for this pause in your career, if you are now ready to come back to your profession and resume your practice, Sirona care & health is keen to support you in completing a ‘Return to Practice Programme’.

One of Sirona’s community nurses, herself having recently supported through a Return to Practice programme, explains why she is really enjoying her new post as a Community Nurse. “The role is so very varied and the shifts fly by. Plenty has changed and progressed in terms of the nursing role, but I expected that ... yet there is knowledge and skill that has remained with me, and I feel like I am once again developing these and making a positive contribution”.
