Location: Tooting and St John’s Therapy Centre

Team: Community Services Wandsworth

St Georges Healthcare Trust is responsible for improving the health of a culturally diverse population of people in south west London. Wandsworth is located in the heart of south west London with a vibrant and multicultural community. There are excellent public transport links to Central London and many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars in the area.

This is a rare post the successful candidate will support a team of speech and language therapy assistants and work with speech and language therapists. There is a mixture of administrative tasks and clinical work under the supervision of SLTs. We are currently offering a mixture of face to face work and remote sessions.

You will need:

  • Written, verbal and numeracy skills to GCSE level or similar
  • Experience of working with children and their carers
  • The ability to learn new skills and apply them under direction
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • The ability to work flexibly, under direction and independently where necessary
  • Enthusiasm, imagination and initiative

You will be working within a highly skilled and experienced team of SLTs. You will have access to a structured and supportive professional development process and regular line management and clinical supervision sessions.
