South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual for a 6-month fixed term contract/secondment as Education Facilitator for Personal and Professional Development.

The successful applicant will support the work of the Education Development and Quality Assurance Team, specifically working on SCAS’ CPPD agenda and apprenticeship provision.

In recent years, SCAS has seen an increase in CPD and Workforce Development funding opportunities. The successful post holder would work alongside the team in appropriately investing this funding in staff development as well as developing and expanding the CPD provision offered within the Trust.

In addition, the post holder will support the ongoing expansion of apprenticeships within the organisation, supporting the team in ensuring the programmes maintain a high level of quality as well as preparing for Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and OFSTED inspections.

Furthermore, the post offers opportunity to get involved in various ongoing education projects both locally, regionally and nationally.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate outstanding communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) and must work well under pressure and to strict deadlines remaining calm, focused and approachable.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a panel interview and interactive / demonstrable process.
