An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Medical Rota Team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our friendly team to provide an efficient rostering service to our medical workforce. You must have good attention to detail together with the ability to prioratise your own work load to meet deadlines. You will have good interpersonal and communication skills as you will be liaising with Senior Management, Medical and Nursing staff as well as other colleagues across multiple Divisions and sites on a daily basis.

It is essential that the post holder be a competent user of Microsoft Office including Excel, have a working knowledge of the working time directive and Junior Doctor contracts. You will be willing to be flexible and adapt to change, open to learning new skills along with having a good knowledge of general administration and clerical procedures. The post holder should possess excellent organisation, negotiation and communication skills whilst having the ability to deliver high quality support for our service and customers. The ability to remain calm under pressure, to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload effectively is essential for this role.

The post holder will Coordinate rotas to ensure the provision of high-quality patient care by efficiently deploying the workforce. The post is instrumental in the design and creation, implementation and management of medical workforce rotas across Wythenshawe and Trafford services.

This post will be providing a service across multiple sites while the main office base is at Wythenshawe there may be a requirement to attend other sites when required. Initially this post is Mon-Fri 0900-1700. However, some weekend/out of hours work may be required in the future on a rotational basis.
