Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity that will combine leadership with external relationship management and the responsibility for making a real difference to people’s lives?

Turning Point is looking for an experience Senior Operations Manager to lead its City and Hackney Service. In this vital role you will be expected to lead the multi-complex service and team through transformation in line with our organisational bid and service developments. We are looking for an individual with proven leadership skills who has managed large forming teams and services before within Substance Misuse.

The Ideal Candidate

It is essential that the successful candidate can evidence the ability:

  • To manage and understand a variety of roles including, well-being workers, support workers, nurses and doctors.
  • Have experience in the management of budgetary and performance, as well as a variety of other contractual requirements.
  • To be the forefront of driving leadership across multidisciplinary teams.  
  • Maintain and develop good commissioner relationships.
  • Manage sub-contracts and external partnership with a variety of diverse organisations.
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of embedding quality assurance systems and processes.
  • Experience of managing clinical services.
  • To lead a team through transformation.
  • To have the skills and ability to be the CQC Registered Manager for the service.

City and Hackney is a new fully integrated adult service delivered by Turning Point that opened in the boroughs on 01st October 2020. The service is delivered in partnership with Mind CHWF and London Friend and there is a focus on partnership working throughout the service to support those in the local community who need that extra support to achieve their goals. Our service is delivered in community settings to increase accessibility by removing some of the traditional stigma associated with building-based services. This also enables closer collaboration with partner agencies for the benefit of local communities.
