We are looking to recruit into an exciting role within the IM&T department as an ICT Support Technician. As part of the IT Service Delivery Team this role will assist with ICT Support on the Service Desk to all North Bristol NHS departments and all our end users.

As a member of the IM&T (Informatics) Team, the post holder will work with colleagues from all the ICT service departments, in order to deliver and maintain a high level of support to meet the IM&T requirements of the Trust. Reporting to the Deputy Service Delivery Manager, the post holder will cover 1st or 2nd line ICT Support, ensuring the provision of quality ICT Support Delivery using ITIL processes, whilst remaining responsive to the current and future requirements of the Trust.


Candidates interested in applying will have excellent communication skills, strong Service Delivery and customer service skills, familiarity of working in a busy Service Desk environment, using call logging systems, experience of MS Windows/MS Office and a broad knowledge of IM&T.


We are looking for a unique individual with knowledge of the challenges presented within the NHS both now and for the foreseeable future, and a clear understanding of how IM&T support the clinical services.
