The Directorate of Urgent Care is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dynamic Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team in Acute Medicine at North Manchester Hospital.

At North Manchester we strongly believe in the role of advanced practice and actively strive to provide an environment that will assist you as an individual with autonomous practice to allow you to continue to develop your clinical and leadership skills. We have ACPs from nursing and allied health care professional backgrounds. We have a very experienced ACP lead at North Manchester and a well-established team of ACPs in our ED. We are looking to increase our team of ACPs across our Acute Medical Unit and Ambulatory Care Unit. With this appointment and further trainees we aim to have a team of 20 ACPs across our Urgent Care Team. The Consultants in our current team have varied sub-specialty interests and experience of mentoring ACPs through training and NMP.

You will be supported through regular clinical supervision, individual learning plans, on-going education and access to a rapidly expanding team of ACP’s to provide mentorship and support.
