We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed senior midwife with strong clinical leadership skills to lead our Day Assessment Unit. We are in exciting times with the development and building of a new dedicated environment for Antenatal services on the Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

The role will involve the coordination of the Day Assessment Unit based at the Stoke Mandeville Site. The poster holder will need to support / develop and lead a team of midwives , Maternity Care assistance and other support staff.

This role must also work collectively with the Senior Midwifery team based within out clinic/ triage and in patient settings to ensure smooth transition for women and birthing people across our services.

As a member of our team you will be professional, reliable, safe and compassionate to all women and birthing people using our services, ensuring that the service is lead in a holistic approach. You will work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team in an environment that is open and compassionate.

You must have excellent communication skills, be flexible and enjoy the challenge working within a busy, enthusiastic team.
