We are an integrated provider with a full range of adult, elderly and children's services across medical and surgical disciplines including community 0-19 yr old services in Enfield. Our specialist services include stroke, HIV/AIDS, cardiology, haematology, diabetes, fertility and orthopaedics. Our sickle cell and thalassaemia department is nationally recognised as a leading centre for these diseases. Every day, on average, we see 500 patients in A&E; 15 babies are born in our maternity unit; about 450 inpatients are cared for on our wards; about 50 patients have major or minor surgery in one of our 10 operating theatres; and about 800 people attend our outpatients clinics.

We are pleased to be able to offer the exciting opportunity to support the Obstetrics and Gynaecology service at North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH). This post will be offered to an enthusiastic and dynamic applicant. The successful candidate will be passionate about Dietetics and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to show leadership ability.

You will be developing services within a supportive but demanding multidisciplinary team environment. The role will involve a clinical caseload of outpatient patients. Therapy services is starting to integrate and there will be opportunity to work closely within the North Central London STP and review the clinical pathways. Other responsibilities includes clinical governance activity. You will develop a service that is clinically responsible for the patients and will coordinate a rolling programme of audit and training.

You will be responsible for the delivery of the outpatient gestational diabetes dietetics services working alongside the multi-disciplinary team

The successful candidate will have relevant clinical experience and teaching and organisational skills with evidence of CPD. You will be required to have some previous experience within this area of dietetics. A commitment to service and personal development is required.
