An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recovery Nurse to join our excellent substance misuse services; STARS in Telford. The post holder will be employed by MPFT Inclusion Telford Stars for a fixed term of 9 months to cover for maternity leave.

Our aim is to provide high-quality, planned care to individuals experiencing substance misuse problems in order to improve their health and wellbeing and to support their recovery.

The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical and therapeutic services to alcohol and drug users including health screening, LFT’s, ECGs’ and immunisations within a multi-disciplinary team providing holistic health and social care to alcohol and drug users, and liaison with their families, carers and friends, living in the locality of Telford and Wrekin.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be proficient in the use of information technology.
