Inclusion, created in 2002 is part of the Specialist Services Care Group of Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT).

We believe that the individuals and families who use our services should receive high quality, committed and inclusive services realising all the benefits a modern national NHS organisation can bring. To do this, we need a well trained and supported workforce and place significant investment in training and development opportunities. We have market-leading opportunities and terms and conditions.

We are proud to have dedicated, passionate and professional staff across our services. We employ a broad spectrum of roles to ensure we meet the needs of those we work with. This includes Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, Allied Health Professionals, Psycho-social Workers, Peer Mentors and Volunteers.

There has never been a better time to join Inclusion (and the Trust); take a look at our Benefits Leaflet to see what else we can offer you.

The Trust works in partnership with the NHS programme ‘Step into Health’, supporting ex-service personnel into a career in the NHS.

We are looking to recruit a high intensity CBT therapist to join our expanding Inclusion Thurrock team. The successful candidate will attend the 1 year CBT top up training to work with psychosis & bipolar (CBT PB). The service delivery currently spans IAPT, Step 4, EiP, ARMS, IPS Employment Service, Inclusion Visions (substance misuse service) and a Recovery College.

The post holder will already possess a qualification in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and would have worked with patients experiencing a range of common mental health problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective.

This vacancy is to work in our ARMS service which is a team that will work very closely with practitioners from other local trusts in order to provide a holistic service to the clients within the team.

Promoting excellence in the delivery of evidence-based psychological therapies, we are committed to supporting clinical training/development, supervision and support for all workers. We are a very friendly team, committed to promoting the wellbeing of our workers, as well as our patients. We pride ourselves on investing in our staff and helping to develop their skills in line with patient need.

The service covers the whole of Thurrock, so some travel may be required. We are expecting the service to progress to a blended working model, delivering therapy in a variety of ways (face to face, via telephone, video and internet-enabled options). Currently all work is being delivered remotely where appropriate and possible, but this is expected to change in line with service restoration post-COVID.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated people who will value and make the most of this exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop a career working in an exciting, challenging and rewarding role.

Clinical supervision is provided by modality specific accredited clinical supervisors. Case management support is also provided.

Clinicians are well resourced with IT and communications equipment. We operate on a paperless basis. Appointees will need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, service users and members of the public, respect individual rights to confidentiality, and complete tasks within given deadlines. We pride ourselves on our partnership approach to developing services and have strong links to a range of statutory and voluntary agencies, community groups and our partnership with Thurrock and Brentwood Mind.
