We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Head of Business Intelligence to join our Information department and provide strategic management and leadership for the team. The post holder will be responsible for the provision and development of a range of business information to support contractual performance, strategy and business intelligence across the organisation, ensuring the organisation is meeting all external and internal performance and reporting obligations.

The Information Department is undergoing a transformation to better leverage the value of data and benefit from data-driven insights and decision-making. The new Head of Business Intelligence will have strong knowledge of data analysis and visualisation tools and skills to turn raw data into insights that will guide and develop information to better inform operational and strategic decision making within CityCare.

The post holder will lead for the organisation in the development and use of business intelligence and enable services and strategic partners to use business intelligence to improve individual services and to enabling CityCare to contribute to services development across the wider Nottinghamshire system.

The post holder will be required to have an expert knowledge on the clinical systems used as the main source of data collection (SystmOne) and a broad analytical expertise and capabilities, demonstrate a wide experience and knowledge of NHS Information management requirements and best practice processes.

An exceptional attention to detail along with a keen interest in process improvement will be key attributes for success in this post.

The Position is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (flexible to meet service and personal requirements).
