We are looking for a Community Mental Health Receptionist who have a strong administrative background to join our dynamic team! We need people that are able to work alone as well as part of a team and able to work in high pressured environments with sometimes distressed and upset patients.

Solent’s Mental Health Services cover a variety of different services including inpatient facilities for both adults and older persons, community services including rehab, crisis and health and wellbeing, IAPT Talking Change and learning disabilities.

Mental Health is part of the Portsmouth Care Group and works collaboratively with Adults Portsmouth, Children’s East and the corporate services as well as partnerships with external stakeholders.

You will be responsible for running the reception on the first floor at St Mary's Health Campus, you will be the sole receptionist with support from the wider admin team. You will be checking in patients for the Community A2i and Crisis teams based on site.

You will need to be able to multi task and prioritise as you will share in monitoring some group mailboxes and answering the phones. Full training will be provided.

Personal Skills/Qualities

  • Communication Skills, written and verbal
  • Good Microsoft and systems knowledge
  • Ability to manage your own workload
  • Experience of working in a similar environment would be beneficial
