We currently have a permanent full-time post and a 0.8 WTE one year fixed term post available.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Leeds Community Healthcare for an enthusiastic and motivated Children's Physiotherapist to join our friendly, dynamic and forward-thinking service.

The team delivers services to children 0-19 years with complex needs and long-term neuro/neurodevelopmental conditions. Children and families can normally access the service in a variety of venues including health centres, schools, nurseries, Children's Centres and their homes. You will work as part of a dynamic MDT across our 3 bases to develop in this specialist clinical area, as well as working with outside organisations such as Education and the Local Authority.

We offer a comprehensive induction, ongoing clinical and managerial support from experienced specialist staff, regular in-house training, as well as opportunities for involvement in service development.

Successful applicants must have experience working with children with neurological and neuro-developmental conditions and be keen to continue developing their own clinical and professional skills. Physiotherapists in our team use different consultation approaches such as digital, face to face, and specialist treatment interventions to support our families. Excellent communication and team working skills are essential with applicants demonstrating the ability to handle complex, and often challenging conversations. You will be able to prioritise your clinical work and other responsibilities whilst also identifying and engaging in key workstreams to develop the service further. The successful applicant will also be expected to take an active role in the supervision of students and junior staff and support innovative working practices within ICAN.
