We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager (Primary Care) to join our Commercial Department here at The London Clinic. This role is based at our head office in Central London with a competitive salary on offer.

Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest independently owned non-profit hospitals, with state-of-the-art facilities located on Harley Street. We have circa 1350 employees, a total of 8 premises, and we are dedicated to providing the best, personalised healthcare with a breadth of surgical and medical expertise.

 

Job Description

This is a unique role within the Business Development team, presenting the opportunity for a versatile high performer to develop and shape the primary care liaison and events function at The London Clinic.

 

  • Job Type:Full Time, permanent position.
  • Hours:37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between the core hours of 8am-6pm

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a high performing team
  • Develop and implement an effective referrer engagement programme including events
  • Develop meaningful management reporting for your own and the team’s results
  • Achieve referral and revenue targets, as well as any other objectives
  • Identify and develop a robust pipe-line of strong opportunities
  • Develop and manage tiered lists of target corporate accounts/GP practices/referrers

 

Skills & Experience

  • Proven key account management, sales and negotiation skills
  • Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong planning, organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to engage and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders of all roles and seniorities
  • Proven business development experience, particularly in developing and growing accounts over time
