Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1m people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.


As a COVID-19 Vaccination (Admin) Support you will be responsible for providing administrative support within a team of staff working at a vaccination site. You will also be responsible for:

  • Accessing and maintaining accurate patient records, adhering to confidentiality as per the site’s policy.
  • Providing admin support on the vaccination activity by supporting the immuniser with vaccination delivery and vaccination records.
  • Recording vaccination consent and marking completion.
  • Ensuring infection and waste control at the vaccination station.

All roles involve a large degree of patient facing work in the vaccination setting.

This opportunity is offered on a bank basis, but is envisaged as being ongoing work for a number of months.

These roles will be operated by the Covid 19 Vaccination Workforce Bureau which is supporting Primary Care Networks, NHS Services and Community Pharmacies who are responsible for delivering the vaccination programme.

The Covid 19 Vaccination Workforce Bureau is hosted by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.

It is a statutory requirement for roles that involve work in care homes that staff are up to date with their Covid vaccination status to be able to work in that environment, unless the person has a valid medical exemption. Where a role requires this, they will need to demonstrate that they meet this requirement during the recruitment process.

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, these are set in advance at a team level and you will join an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date.

We will consider requests to work alternative hours or vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.

For all substantive roles the appointment of new staff (excluding medical staff) is subject to a 6 month probationary period (see Probation Policy).
