This post is integral to ensuring a cohesive and dynamic approach to Quality Assurance within the Undergraduate Medical Education Department at the Manchester University Hospitals Foundation Trust.


The postholder will play a key role in quality assuring the delivery of Undergraduate Education throughout all clinical placements and developing and monitoring the compliance of internal service level agreements, ensuring the quantity and quality of education to be delivered within the Trust.


You will work effectively as a member of the Undergraduate team, having responsibility for organising and collecting evidence about the quality of our student placements. You will be expected to present this information in an appropriate format to be used for a variety of reports both internal and external to the Trust. You will design, construct and maintain educational databases, analysing information and trends to produce quality reports and provide information on which the financial costs to the Trust of delivering teaching will be based.


This is a varied and challenging role that involves liaison and reporting at a number of levels. The postholder will need to be self driven and forward thinking with an ability to carry out the role to high standard whilst planning its natural development for the future.

Previous experience of quality management in an educational setting would be advantageous.
