The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint enthusiastic registered nurses for its ITU / HDU. Applicants will be hard working, have excellent team-working skills and have a passion for the delivery of high quality patient care. This is a great opportunity to be part of a forward thinking integrated care organisation and be involved in innovative service developments and quality improvements, within it. The successful candidate can expect an induction, including an intensive care education programme supported by a supernumerary phase, therefore no previous intensive care experience is required.

The Department

The combined ITU/HDU Department and cares for Level 2 and Level 3 patients within a range of specialities. The department sits within the division of Surgery and Planned care, which is active and dynamic, with thriving collaborative working arrangements across South Yorkshire.

The ITU/HDU is home to a friendly, diverse and accommodating team who will welcome new colleagues and support them in all aspects of their role. The team shares a passion for change, growth, quality improvement and innovation in pursuing clinical excellence.

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure, and you can choose to have this deducted from either your first month’s salary or in instalments over your first 3 months’ salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.
