Sterile Services Technician - Crowborough

We're on the look-out for a Sterile Services Technician to join the Theatre team at The Horder Centre on a full time basis.

What you'll do 

  • Re-packing of surgical instruments and sterilising.
  • Preparation of soft pack trays for surgery & re-stocking of soft pack cupboards.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of the Sterile Services Department.
  • Testing of autoclaves and washers daily and reporting any faults.
  • Conducting weekly testing of machinery when required, and reporting any faults.
  • Following the Quality Management System.

What you need to have 

  • Understanding of the processes within a Sterile Services Department.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to recognise the instrumentation being processed.
