The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is the independent organisation responsible for providing national guidance and advice on promoting high quality health, public health and social care.

  • Producing evidence-based guidance and advice for health, public health and social care practitioners.
  • Developing quality standards and performance metrics for those providing and commissioning health, public health and social care services;
  • Providing a range of information services for commissioners, practitioners and managers across the spectrum of health and social care.

Dynamics CRM Data Administrator

The Role:

Reporting to the Project Manager, Implementation Support, the Dynamics CRM Data Administrator will be responsible for supporting 3 internal teams in their use of Dynamics 365. The postholder will support NICE’s Field Team with their functional Dynamics 365 system needs, acting as first point of contact for system queries and issues. The postholder will advise on making the best use of the system for reporting and tracking progress against agreed key performance indicators and scope business needs for further developments. They will also support administrative needs of the System Engagement and Field team.

What you will bring to NICE:

To be considered for this role, we are looking for:

  • Relevant degree in an IT related subject or equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience and further training/development.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect Expert would be a distinct advantage

Knowledge and skills

  • Detailed knowledge of Dynamics 365, skilled in functional use of the system
  • Sound working knowledge and understanding of MS Power Apps suite
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High standard of written English
  • Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise work on different projects to meet deadlines which may be conflicting
  • Knowledge of current developments in the NHS and social care
  • Thorough attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
  • Logical approach and strong problem solving skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of information governance / GDPR and data protection and privacy legislation

The post holder should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 2 years+ experience in a similar role
  • Experienced user of Dynamics 365
  • Experience of using Power Apps to analyse data and automate reporting (Power Automate, Power BI and Flow)
  • Experience of extrapolating and presenting data in a clear, understandable format for a range of audiences

The Department:

You will be part of the System Engagement team within the Health and Social Care Directorate.

You will work directly with NICE’s Field team which has 10 members based throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and who use Dynamics 365 to record and report on their engagement with external stakeholders. You will also work alongside the Enquiry handling and Evidence services teams to support their use of Dynamics 365 in tracking external enquiries into NICE. You will support the Field Team with their functional needs, advise on making the best use of the system for reporting and tracking progress against agreed key performance indicators and scope business needs for further developments. You will also support the administrative needs of the System engagement and Field team. Knowledge and understanding of current developments in the NHS and social care would be a distinct advantage in this role.
