An exciting opportunity to join the well-established Orthoptic and Ophthalmology Team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust

We need a highly motivated and proactive individual to join the team. The role requires an individual who would like to gain experience in a teaching hospital within the Oxford Deanery. We need an individual who would like to manage a variety of Orthoptic patients to improve and enhance their skills.

We have a team of six orthoptists who cover all aspects of orthoptic care ( paediatrics, adult and specialist clinics). We are a dynamic and evolving department. We were proud to continue to provide care throughout the COVID pandemic and therefore find ourselves in an enviable position of being on track with patients and not facing a year of catch up. This will mean that there is an opportunity to develop a range of skills within different clinics.

We are also fortunate to have 2 full time substantive paediatric/adult strabismus ophthalmologists. This provides good support for all clinics.
