An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse with the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) qualification in School Nursing to join our large School Nursing Team in Carmarthenshire as a Band 6 School Nurse.

This is a permanent basis working full-time (37.5 hrs per week) term time only in the Carmarthenshire area. This is a full time role but part time hours could be considered.

This is an exciting time to be involved in School Nursing as we are implementing the new refreshed 2017 Welsh Government "A Framework for a School Nursing Service in Wales".

School Nurses are central to a range of services that promote public health and support the physical, emotional and social health of children and young people aged between 5 to 18 years and contribute to a healthy school culture.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
