the Human Resources Assistant is part of a team who provide a high quality and efficient HR Transactional Service using a professional and co-operative approach when providing support to staff and managers in relation to a wide range of Human Resources issues. This post is a 37.5 hours per week Fixed Term vacancy.

The post holder will be the first point of contact for general HR issues and enquiries. The team look after employees at all stages of their career, from recruitment through to retirement. As such, providing a high level of customer service to everyone we have contact with is key.

Working with the HR Team, the successful candidate will need to be confident with IT systems as this role will involve using a variety of HR systems. ESR knowledge would be an advantage. You will preferably have experience of the recruitment process and cycle.

You should have a good standard of education, experience of working in a team, within an administrative role and ideally with some customer service experience. You must possess excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate good organisational skills, manage a busy workload and be able to work to deadlines.
