About us

  • We’re a major local employer, with a diverse workforce of c5,000 providing healthcare services to a growing population of around 535,000.

Bank Occupational Therapist

Salary: Band 6

East Surrey Hospital Occupational Therapy Department is a friendly, forward thinking, dynamic and innovative department with a well- established Clinical Governance programme and a focus on staff development.

We have recently been awarded a Trust rating of Outstanding and are looking for Outstanding HCPC registered Occupational Therapists to join the Staff bank.

Whether you are looking for more of a regular working pattern or flexible working pattern then this may be the opportunity you have been waiting for.

We have shifts available during the week and weekend working in various teams across the hospital which include Acute Medical, Care of the Elderly, Front Door (ED), Orthopaedics and Surgical, Neuro and Respiratory. The specialist area shifts available will be dependent on previous experience or completion of relevant in house training.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your experience and skills in an acute hospital environment. You will receive regular appraisal and supervision sessions from the supportive Team Leads and will have the opportunity to take part in audits and service development.

There may be the opportunity to transfer to permanent posts.

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust operate a 24 hour 365 day a year service and all nursing, clinical and operational roles will require staff to work 24/7 shifts (if required) unless you are specifically advised otherwise as part of the recruitment process.
