The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals has a unique and exciting opportunity to work as part of the Patient Experience Team at a time when new and exciting ways of working are being developed. We are in a position to advertise the post of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager (patient services) working full time on either a one year fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.

This role will provide highly specialised support and advice, leading on a range of projects aimed at improving the experience of people with protected characteristics.

Key roles of the post include developing and implementing an equality, diversity and inclusion (patients) work plan, identify key areas for improvement and working in collaboration with local communities.

The successful applicant will join a supportive team which is led by the Head of Patient Experience. There will be opportunities to learn and develop new skills and influence patient experience developments and projects.

This is a unique post and we are keen to attract applicants from a variety of backgrounds. Informal enquiries to explore the post further are welcomed.

Full Time 37 Hours 30 Minutes/Week
